Online Damage Prevention Training
The Celeritas Training Center™ is a tool designed to assist companies in the management and delivery
of online training for the damage prevention industry.
The Training Center™ provides companies with a way to create, store and maintain programs, courses,
course media and surveys, as well as a means to store and maintain the progress and histories of individual users
as they are assigned to programs, and as they complete course work and surveys.
Each course is comprised of a series of videos, presentations, and documents along with an optional survey
or questionnaire that is targeted to a given damage prevention audience (emergency responders, excavators,
public officials and affected public).
Courses are created by administrators, who also assign courses to appropriate individuals.
The Training Center™ records the individual's progress through the course by tracking the
course materials completed. Once an individual completes a course, the company administration personnel are
notified and the data is transmitted to an outside application for their records. Typically, an administrator
then sends a Certificate of Completion to the individual.
Administrators can assign a survey to a course item. The survey is then displayed when the course is completed.
Users' answers are tracked by the training center, and are stored electronically.
Administrators can view a listing of users and the courses they've completed.

View Programs Screen:
This screen allows users to see a list of training programs they are currently enrolled in, and to select a
training program they have been assigned to. The program list indicates the amount of work the student has
already completed and the date the entire program was completed. As a student reviews materials, he or she
can mark an item completed. Completed items are tracked and recorded by the Training Center™.
Courses Screen:
The Courses screen allows users to begin or continue viewing course materials, which may include (but are not
limited to) Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, surveys and videos. Videos are viewed as Flash presentations,
making the media viewer accessible to a wide variety of client computers. Other course materials are converted to
Flash or PDF so that they can be viewed on any computer without the need of expensive third party software.
